The ninth ISSCL conference, celebrating the Society’s first 10 years, took place in Dublin City University on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th February 2012. The theme was “Is féidir linn! [Yes we can!]: Politics and Ideology in Children’s Literature.” The conference enjoyed a high attendance with exciting and high-caliber presentations from scholars at all career stages, including a keynote address by Dr Matthew Grenby and an address from Laureate na nÓg, Siobhán Parkinson. Hearty thanks go to all who took part in making the conference such an enjoyable and successful event. The conference programme can be downloaded here.
